New Members
The good news is that you can try before you buy!  Details of where we meet can be found here. The best bet is to contact our Secretary Dave Sweet and tell him that you are intending to visit the club or alternatively you can just turn up on the night. Phoning beforehand ensures that we can look out for you and sort out runners of a similar standard who are running the distance you want to run.  Dave's contact details can be found here. After a month’s trial you will be in a position to decide whether you want to join or not.

2008/9 Subscriptions (Due 1^st June 2008) -
Subscriptions for 2008/9 (1^st June 2008 - 31^st March 2008) are shown below: Please note this is a ten-month period to synchronise our membership year with England Athletics from 1^st April 2009.

Membership forms
All members, whether new or renewals, are asked to complete a membership form (word document here or pdf here) and give/send your cheque and form to Pat Godfrey or any committee member as soon as possible. This will ensure the club retains up-to-date records.

England Athletics Affiliation Scheme (due 1^st April)
The England Athletics Affiliation scheme requires each competing athlete to be registered with them, and pay the fee (currently £5). This should have already been collected from you by Dave or Pat. If you are a second claim runner who has paid this fee via their first claim club, there is no need to pay again. If you have not yet paid either directly, through your second claim club or via Dave/Pat, you will need to do so directly. Here is a link to the EA affiliation form .

From 1^st April 2009 the club will collect the fees alongside membership subscriptions.
