We waved goodbye to the Cross
Country season at Thorndon Park today, with the
Striders picking up second place on the day and a third place overall in the
League. Well done to those Striders who completed the Eseex
20 last Sunday and what was a cold miserable morning. Interesting to note that
we made up about 10% of the field.

As hosts of yesterday's race, we would welcome feedback on any aspect of the
day, except the hills!

Great day! Hosted our own Cross Country at Weald Park and WON by three
clear points. So it is a big WELL DONE to everyone at the Club. Those who ran,
those who Marshalled, those who help provide the refreshments and thos who set out our new extended (and very hilly) course.
And whoever I have missed. Two weeks today is the final event! I am awaiting
the full results from DG. As soon as they will be uploaded.
