Well done to Geraldine Howard, Ricky Lee, Malcolm McCann and Coach Fleming for
completing the Tri Sport Epping Try-a-Tri. Looks like there could be some
converts here! If you fancy a go at Triathlon, it is still not too late. Blackwater Tri Club are running one on Sunday 18th
September (Note - this clashes with the Ingatestone
5) and there is two distances to chose from. Check out the Blackwater Tri
Club website for details. The latest edition of 'The Strider'in
now available here. It
covers the two extremes of Happy Marriage. Vic and Doreen's Golden Wedding
Anniversary (Is that why he runs soooooooo fast!) and
Crispian and Zoe's Wedding
(Never seen the boy looking so smart!). We have just passed the longest day of
the year and one very hot week, but already plans turn to Autumn and Winter
with details of the Essex League Cross Country and the Essex Masters Cross
Country available in the latest Strider and also on the Race Calendar. Now that
should help to cool you down!! LAST CHANCE THIS WEEK to renew your

While the weather was not great today, I am sure some of the Striders would
have been pleased as they were taking part in the Jim Peters Half Marathon down
in Southend. No results as yet, but if I get them I
will upload.
