News from the Striders

Maybe the wind? Maybe the threat of rain (and boy did it rain later)? I am hearing the turnout was not great at the Baddow ten. No I did not make it either as I had to look after the family after my wife completed the Moonwalk. I am quite busy this week, but will keep an eye out for results.
Don't forget Thursday is our AGM. NO RUN FROM HANNAKINS. Norsey Woods instead.

I received a mail for Andy at TFT this week via Coach Kevin. He wanted to publicise an Off Road Trial race, Trotters Trailblazer, they are organising on the same day as the Southend Half. Distance is 7 miles or 14 miles. There is a link from our calendar to more details. As well as the Crown to Crown series, there is a few more off road races that TGT have in their calendar if you are interested. Go to our links page to get to their site. Remember Baddow is only two weeks away!!!

Well done to Keith Walker who competed in the Cambridge Duathlon at the weekend. For those not in the know, this is a World Age Group Qualifing event. Keith completed the course in just over two hours to finish sixth in his age group. Well done Keith.
My apologies to Keith Adams . I missed him off the list of Striders competing in London. Keith came home in 3 hours 41. Well done Keith. Everyone done their entry to the Baddow 10?
