Just to let you all know that the Billericay Fun Day will this year be taking place on Sunday 15th July at Sun Corner from 11.00 to 4.30.
The Striders will be having a pitch there along with most organisations / clubs / charities in the Billericay area.
Also attending will be the Fire Service and the MG Car Club, who are aiming to bring over 250 Vintage Cars to the display. The Essex Air Ambulance have also been pencilled in to attend, and in case you are not aware they are our Charity for 2007/8.
If you could spare some time on that Sunday to pop along and help man our stand and talk to the public about what we get up to, and what we are all about, it would be appreciated.
I will be putting a notice on the club board for members to sign up on so I have some idea of who to expect and when. But if you cannot get to the club, then drop me a line if you can possibly help.
Please bear in mind for the racers amongst you that this is the same date as the TGT 10k.
And finally for the moment we have coming up the Track Night incorporating the Club mile on Thursday 5th July, starting at 7.00 at Mayflower School. So bring the kids for an evening of racing and fun, as the youngsters show the parents how to do it on the race track.
